10 Secs of Fame

Yea.... I have had my German TV debut..... Well....I was shown for 10 secs on Die Landesschau (The Local/Area Show) on SWR SΓΌdwest Rheinland-Pfalz. We had a local tourism show for the Eifel area here and a city had a Plywood Cow that simulated milking... needless to say, I could not overcome the urge to make a fool out of myself and the rest is TV history.... actually I did not know they were taping until a mic was stuck in my face... luckily my pithy comments were lost in translation..... So only the silly grin was shown......

NOTE TO SELF..... Look for cameras first, then indulge foolish urge.....

Anyways have fun and enjoy the day....

Le Tour Madness

There is a month every year that I seem to disappear into another world. This month is July, the month of Le Tour. Between watching the TV, trying to translate their commentary (only to find out that in their eyes T-Mobile is the only team racing) and getting my other updates via 3 websites. Then trying to run off to a stage in France or when the Tour decides to grace one of our surrounding countries with a stage.

Well Mr. Faithful, George Hincapie, has won the toughest stage this year, which is well deserved, since he has been riding for Lance these past 6 Tour Victories.

I leave to catch the highlight videos of what I missed earlier (Work.....)

Have Fun

Robert

Here is a couple of pics from Stage 7 in Karlsruhe, Germany.....
